The consultation/interview with Dr Nandy is treated as confidential.

Dr Nandy will write to patient's GP or any other referrer only with patient's consent.

Without patient's consent he is unable to disclose any information to friends, relatives/families, employers or others.

According to GMC guidelines -

"DOCTORS HOLD INFORMATION ABOUT PATIENTS WHICH IS PRIVATE AND SENSITIVE. THE INFORMATION MUST NOT BE GIVEN TO OTHERS UNLESS THE PATIENT CONSENTS OR DOCTOR CAN JUSTIFY THE DISCLOSURE. WHEN DOCTORS ARE SATISFIED THAT INFORMATION SHOULD BE RELEASED , DOCTORS SHOULD ACT PROMPTLY TO DISCLOSE ALL RELEVANT INFORMATION. THIS IS OFTEN ESSENTIAL TO THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE PATIENT, OR TO SAFEGUARD THE WELL-BEING OF OTHERS."
